I was blessed to attend college. I was just a farmers daughter. My mother didn’t even finish the 9th grade. Coming from a town of 400 in Iowa it seemed like a far away dream to realize. I pushed myself and was able to pay my own way through college and obtain 4 degrees, all in community service. A bachelors degree in Criminal Justice, a bachelors degree in Political Science, and two Applied Science degrees in Psychology and Sociology.
With my degrees, my extroverted personality and my strong sense of justice working in Real Estate was a perfect fit for me. Helping people. ❤️ After finding myself as a single mother raising two little girls the flexibility it offered was perfect. In Real Estate I take an advisory position and approach for all of my clients. Each one has a different set of obstacles or needs. That’s why I started my boutique real estate company. No client needs cookie-cutter services. My goal was to lead people to a path of making good decisions for themselves about the biggest investments in their lives. Educate them to the pitfalls when buying and selling, how to save money, how to choose a good agent or if they even need one at all.
Truth be told I’ve been wanting to do this Blog for a long time. I’ve seen A LOT in my real estate career. 10 years now. Some great things and a lot of things that make me want to pull my hair out. Whether it be because of a greedy or unknowledgeable agent or just an uneducated buyer or seller making the wrong decisions. I ask myself how can we do better in this industry for the people we have a fiduciary responsibility toward. What should buyers and sellers look for and how can they become more educated when it comes to real estate.
Friends and clients that know me know that I take a “no bullshit” approach to Real Estate and if you’re all about learning and wanting to know the truth then you are going to love this blog. 🙏🏻 These are the topics I have wrote down over the years that I want to share with you. 👇🏻
*What questions to ask a Real Estate agent in an interview.
*Insider Real Estate terms like “Buying a Listing” and “Double Ending”
*Insider Rules that Real Estate agent must abide by and how it effects you.
*Find out what your house is worth like a Real Estate agent does. I’ll teach you without the tools we have.

There are many many topics to discuss. Please stick around and invite your friends to join my blog. My goal for this blog is to add value to each one of you and to really shed some light on Real Estate by Spilling The Tea.
